The same task/job is completed in IS Prod system but it is long run and failed in IS Dev.
This task is keep on running for several hours and finally failed in BO IS Dev. But same task is completed successfully in Production system.
This task is migrated from BO IS Dev to BO IS Prod
After some time we got below error . Still task is running from 1 days. Attached screenshots.
And my BO IS Developer said like below.
Since the rules/views/etc are all imports from Prod, where they work successfully. But it is not working in Dev.
Currently when new rules/views/etc are created in Prod or rules are changed in Prod, they are exported and imported into Dev.
I removed 3 rules from MATERIAL_PSKPI_MARA_2 and bound them to a copy of the view.
The copy runs with no errors and now KPIMAT2_RuleCalc runs with no errors.
This leads me to believe the issue is not with the rules, but with the amount of rules the can be bound to a view like I stated in previous email.
But it seems there must be some type of configuration difference between the Dev and Prod servers/job server/etc that doesn’t allow the same # of rules to be assigned to a view.
(Guessing there is a limit on # of concurrent connections that are allowed – since most of these rules have lookups within them)
Please let us know what configuration we need to compare from Dev and prod.
