Awesome, tanks Danie. I need to wait for the guys in Canada to come online and then I will feed this through to them.
In the meantime, I have another issue (sorry for this) that is plaguing my IS - ECC deployment.
The next error I get is this:
Error calling RFC function to get table data: <RFC_ABAP_EXCEPTION-(Exception_Key: DATA_BUFFER_EXCEEDED, SY-MSGTY: E, SY-MSGID:
FL, SY-MSGNO: 046, SY-MSGV1: /BODS/RFC_READ_TABLE)
Now, I know what the SCN says about this error, see below...
Symptom
The Supplement for SAP states, "When you use an SAP application table as a data flow source, Data Services extracts data using the Data Services-provided RFC (remote function call) Z_AW_RFC_READ_TABLE. The function call extracts up to 2048 bytes per row. If this function is not loaded to the SAP application server, Data Services extracts data using the SAP-supplied function, RFC_READ_TABLE. This function call limits extracted data to 512 bytes per row." Resolution Install the Z_AW_RFC_READ_TABLE function on the SAP application server. Information on installing functions is in the Supplement for SAP. By default, this document is installed with Data Services. It can also be found online.

BUT, when we look in our SAP ECC6 EHP6, the Z_AW_RFC_READ_TABLE function does exist, so we should be able to read wide tables. I have set the RFC Batch to NOT run in the background as well.
Do you have any idea? Sorry for bugging u?
